East Coast Staff Panel

The Staff Panel is the internal system East Coast Windscreens uses to run its fitting jobs. Staff book a job by typing the registration, and the make and model fill in from the DVSA vehicle record; then they pick the customer, the time, and whether it is at the workshop or mobile. The diary is the single source of truth: it will not let two jobs overlap, keeps a travel gap between mobile jobs and honours days off, and the owner can override a clash only after a two-step confirmation. The day before a job, the customer gets an email and an optional text reminder, and delivery status comes back onto the job page. There are two roles, owner and staff, the owner has an activity log and a CSV export, and the booking rules are enforced in the database itself, not just on the screen. It is a private tool for the client's staff, so there is no public link.
