Who we are

This website is operated by Chay Levi Shields, trading as Buildory. You can contact Buildory at [email protected] or through the channels listed on the contact page.

What this site does

This is a business site and enquiry site. It describes the services Buildory offers and how to get in touch. It is not an online shop and it does not create an account for you.

Information collected

Buildory does not run a contact form that stores submissions on this site. If you write by email, WhatsApp, or LinkedIn, Buildory receives whatever you choose to send, typically your name, contact details, and the details of your enquiry.

If Buildory later takes you on as a client, it may also hold billing details, project notes, and any files you share. That information is held only for the work agreed.

How it is used

Enquiry details are used to reply to you, to discuss a possible engagement, and, if you become a client, to deliver the service and keep records of the work.

Buildory does not sell personal information or pass it to third parties for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, but only if you say yes. Nothing is set until you actively accept the cookie prompt shown on your first visit, and analytics cookies are never loaded before that choice is made.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies, called _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to 2 years and identify your browser with a random ID rather than your name or contact details. They are used to measure visits, pages viewed, and general location and device information, with your IP address anonymised. If you reject, no analytics script runs and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, which reopens the banner and removes any analytics cookies already set.

Google may process this data outside the UK/EEA as part of running Analytics; see Google's own privacy policy for details of how they handle it.

Third-party services

Links on this site may take you to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, a content management system, or an invoicing platform. Those services have their own privacy policies, and Buildory is not responsible for how they handle your data once you leave this site.

How long it is kept

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as they are useful for following up, and then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and to meet tax and accounting duties, then removed or archived.

Your rights

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where it is no longer needed. Write to [email protected] and Buildory will respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
